Think of the last time you accomplished a major goal in your life. In what way did that experience shape who you are now?

Setting a big goal with a strong ‘why’ has the power to push us forward—even when we don’t want to—and can lead us towards achieving our ultimate potential.

Which is why I’m excited to be talking with my buddy Brad Weimert today. With only 45 days to train, Brad has set an ambitious challenge to hike the equivalent of climbing Mt. Everest twice. His goal is to raise $58,058 for Explore Austin—an organization that helps mold the youth of Austin into amazing, well rounded adults by teaching them life skills through adventure.

Brad’s adventures never cease to amaze me, but what truly inspires me is the the message and meaning behind each of his goals. He reminds us that if there’s something you’re not doing because you’re uncomfortable or afraid, that’s probably your cue for moving towards it. The ripples that are created as a result, have the power to completely transform your world.

In our conversation, we talk about the power of mentorship, his training routine, preparation techniques, mindset and much more.

Here’s What You’ll Discover…

  • [06:00] Everesting (x2) for Charity—Find out why Brad’s pushing his physical limits to raise $58,058 for underprivileged youth in Austin. (click here to support Brad's mission)
  • [11:20] Brad explains why mentorship combined with adventure can be an extremely powerful tool for shaping the minds of youth.
  • [15:30] A physical training routine for elite endurance athletes—Brad shares the tools and techniques he uses to prepare his body, along with the gear, supplements, and the single most important aspect for faster recovery.
  • [34:48] Physically pushing your body to the ultimate limit requires an incredibly strong mindset—Brad shares the quote that keeps pushing him forward.
  • [36:15] Using the power of a strong “why” to stick to your goals no matter what.

Do you ever wish you had a deeper understanding for who you are? What about a deeper love, compassion, and appreciation for others?

It’s easy to fall into that trap of thinking that we know everything there is to know about something—that there’s nothing left to learn about ourselves or the people around us. From a guy who has taken pretty much every personality test you can imagine, I didn’t think there was much more to discover about myself... But I was wrong!

Known for his transparency, humor, and spiritual insightfulness, Ian has presented at conferences, churches, seminaries, retreats, and universities around the world.

Today we are unpacking a unique and wildly awesome tool for personal growth—the Enneagram. Not only did it help me learn more about who I am, but it made a huge difference in my relationship with my wife and my ability to be a great dad.

''When we have purpose, we find power.'' - Jon Vroman

What started as an organization to help people brave life-threatening illnesses, has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

If you’re brand new to the show, The Front Row Foundation is like Make-a-Wish meets Tony Robbins. We create life changing experiences for kids and adults who are fighting for their lives by putting them in the front row of their dream event.

Today, we want to celebrate a major milestone! We’ve recently surpassed a decade of creating these experiences, which has resulted in over 100 magical moments for Front Row recipients!

But what amazes me even more, is how this foundation has evolved over the years. It’s not just a wish organization, it’s a philosophy for life. We have built a community and culture that continues to ask the question:

how do we live every day in the front row fully engaged, closer to the things that make us come alive and make us feel like every moment of our life is meaningful?

To celebrate, I wanted to get together with some of the people who have been there from the beginning. Which brings us to today’s special conversation...

In today’s roundtable discussion, 5 best friends—myself, Hal Elrod (International Bestselling Author of The Miracle Morning and #1 donor to The Front Row Foundation), Jon Berghoff (Managing Partner of the Flourishing Leadership Institute), John Ruhlin (Author of Giftology), and John Kane (Director of Sales at Cutco and first person to ever get the Front Row tatoo!)—revisit how The Front Row Foundation has brought us together and share stories of how we’ve supported each other over the years.

Here’s a Quick Breakdown of Our Chat…

  • [12:15] The power of relationships—5 best friends express their gratitude for being a part of a company culture that brought them together.
  • [14:40] When the best things in life come from the most unexpected places—John Kane demonstrates this with one of his favorite John Ruhlin stories.
  • [19:00] Why nobody “makes it” on their own—You’ll hear how a willingness to serve and support one another allowed 5 friends to succeed beyond their wildest dreams.
  • [20:10] Find out what the Front Row Foundation means to each of the 5 friends and how an organization that started off as a way to help people fight life threatening illnesses, has grown into something much bigger!
  • [23:10] An incredibly touching story of Front Row recipient Sophie and the moment she got to meet Kelly Clarkson—this story will really help you appreciate how precious life truly is!
  • [31:36]Big lessons from The Front Row Factor: Transform Your Life with the Art of Moment Making—including how to empower your life by tapping into the past, present and future.
  • [41:10] How a partnership was born between The Best Year Ever Blueprint and The Front Row Foundation and why it’s giving attendees a higher sense of purpose.
  • [51:55] Why fundraising can align with the things you love to do—Learn how to give back with your time, talent and/or treasure!
  • [01:13:16] Smiling in the midst of adversity—What Hal’s battle with cancer can teach us about making the most out of difficult situations.

''Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.'' - Rachel Adams Lee

We all want to lead happy and successful lives, but sometimes in the pursuit of success, we lose sight of what matters most.

So, do your actions line up with the person you really want to be? What could you eliminate that would add something to your life? What could you say “no” to that would bring more “yes’s” into your world?

Today I’m talking Rachel Adams Lee who is here to share how she transformed her life and found true happiness.

Rachel is the CEO & founder of Rachel Adams Group at Keller Williams Realty.  She is currently ranked in the top 1% of all Realtors in Placer and Sacramento counties. In 2015 and 2016 she was named “Wall Street Journal’s Top 1000 Agents” in the US.

''Oftentimes people think disability is inability, which it’s not.'' – Mary Verdi-Fletcher

When was the last time you felt fully alive, free to express yourself fully and completely?

In an effort to protect ourselves from harm or being exposed to what we aren’t comfortable with, we often will create mental barriers that can hold us back. What would life look like if we decided to knock those barriers down? What then would be possible?

Today I’m talking with my inspirational friend Mary Verdi-Fletcher. She’s here to discuss how she’s using dance to educate and inspire the disabled and able bodied alike to believe our disabilities don’t define us.

Mary Verdi-Fletcher is a true pioneer. She is America’s first professional wheelchair dancer and has taken a field where disabilities were not accepted and worked endlessly to shatter stereotypes, change attitudes, bring hope, advocate for inclusion, and essentially be an agent of change.

Despite being born with spina bifida, Mari has worked tirelessly to open the doors of opportunity for people with disabilities who wanted to pursue their goals on an equal ground with their non-disabled peers. This determination ultimately led her to found The Dancing Wheels Company in 1980 in Cleveland, Ohio, which was specifically formed to employ professionally trained dancers, with and without disabilities.

The Dancing Wheels Company has reached audiences of over 5 million people with awe-inspiring school assembly programs, workshops, residencies, and main stage concert performances worldwide.

If you’ve ever had moments of doubt or convinced yourself that you couldn't do something, I can promise this conversation will show you what’s possible when you believe in yourself.

Here’s a Quick Breakdown of Our Chat…

  • [10:30] Mary discusses her Dancing Wheels School and Company, its mission and how one encouraging phrase from her mother made it all possible.
  • [16:25] Mary’s definition of dancing and how she uses this interpretation as inspiration to achieve any goal.
  • [18:50] Learn how the lives of Mary’s able bodied students are positively affected due to their close interaction with their disabled dance partners.
  • [21:05] The single biggest obstacle Mary would have to overcome in her early 20s and how that decision would open the door for everything to follow.
  • [28:05] Listen as Mary recounts her favorite Dancing Wheels success stories and the one story which will bring a tear to your eye.
  • [35:08] Learn Mary’s advice to live by and how she uses it to turn any obstacle into an opportunity.

''I literally knew that whatever I dreamed of I could do'' - Tommy Danger

Has there ever been a moment in your life when you thought “I could never do that in a million years!”?

What if instead, you believed that you could? What would be possible if you pushed past your self-limiting beliefs and decided to show up big in every aspect of your life?

Today’s conversation is with my good friend and adventure athlete, Tommy Danger, who will inspire you to push your life to the ultimate limit!

Tommy learned in his mid 20's that life wasn't about the money you make, but the lives you change. Through his love of adventure he founded a non-profit foundation called More Than Just Me that uses adventure projects to raise money and drive awareness for important causes around the world.

He is currently in the middle of his third project called More Than Just Mountains where he is climbing the Seven Summits (the highest peak on each continent) with two of his close friends to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.

It's been almost 10 years since Tommy made a massive change to his lifestyle and since then he has biked from Los Angeles to Boston, ran from Seattle to Daytona Beach, and has completed four of the Seven Summits.

He currently lives in Park City, UT with his beautiful wife Alyx, their pup Boo, and a little Danger baby on the way.

In this exciting discussion, Tommy shares the lessons he’s learned through his many adventures and exactly how he’s using them to positively impact the world.

He walks us through his incredible trek through Papua, Indonesia and how he barely made it out alive. The journey included everything from hiking through tropical jungles and traversing through rivers, to climbing steep cliffs and negotiating with tribal chiefs.

If you want to learn how to turn your biggest dreams into reality, push your body to unimaginable limits, and make the most out of each and every moment that life has to offer, you definitely won’t want to miss this convo!

Here’s a quick breakdown of our chat…
